On the night of 10th oct 1960 we lost a Beverley (XL151) on a rescue search mission for an Aden Airways plane which was overdue killing all on board including my pals Keith Baguley, Eric Gamble and Jim Henderson. It had crashed into a 600 foot high sand dune.
Fortunately I also have happy memories of the Beverley.
